The first time I ever tasted beef was when I was 13.
I ordered a beef burger at McDonald’s.
To be honest, it didn’t feel like anything special at that time.
The real moment that changed everything
was when I worked part-time at a Western restaurant.
I tried a piece of freshly grilled beef for the first time.
At that moment, I finally understood —
Beef could taste this good… and feel this warm.
I started working in kitchens at 14 —
washing plates at a bao shop, making bubble tea,
helping out at BP hotels with prep work, cutting vegetables, serving.
Later, I did sales for a few years,
but even when I was dancing with my crew,
I was still juggling different jobs to survive.
Life never gave me a smooth road —
I sold health products with friends,
made 70K in my first month,
and for the next six months… nothing worked.
Then I went to Singapore to do customer service,
worked part-time at NTU, NUS canteens.
I had no money, no direction,
just running around Singapore and Malaysia trying to survive.
Those were the toughest years of my youth.
After returning to Malaysia and dancing full-time for a year,
life was finally turning brighter…
Then MCO hit.
I couldn’t do anything.
So I bought a slightly dented car,
and started selling fresh milk —
picking up stock, delivering, doing accounting,
designing labels, cooking, and even opening an FB page.
Nobody taught me anything.
I just figured everything out step by step.
By fate, a friend asked me to join him
to start My Fresh Storage.
We began with just two cuts of beef.
One icebox, slowly learning everything from scratch,
delivering orders all over Johor.
The most important part of this journey?
I met countless beef-loving friends,
and eventually turned customers into family.
From online retail → wholesale → reopening after MCO,
the journey was truly difficult.
Every small step, every hill climbed,
made me appreciate things even more.
Because I came from
zero background, zero knowledge, zero resources.
I know exactly
what “安心吃牛肉” means,
and what “值得” really feels like.
My Fresh Storage is not just about selling beef.
It’s my life.

我第一次吃牛肉,是13岁那年,在 MCD 点了一份牛肉汉堡。
说实话,那时候没有什么特别感觉。
真正让我震惊的是,是在新加坡西餐厅打工时,
第一次吃到现烤牛肉。
那一刻,我才知道牛肉原来可以这么好吃,这么温暖。
我14岁就开始混厨房,从包点店洗碗、泡茶,
到 BP 酒楼做厨房助手、切菜砧板。
后来做了几年 sales,
也没放下跳舞这份热爱,现在还在教孩子们跳舞。
人生走过不少弯路——
做 sales 赚了点钱,跟朋友合伙做健康产品,
第一次人生亏了 70k,有一半还是借来的。
后来又去新加坡做客服员,再去 NTU、NUS 大学食堂。
家里没钱,没得选,只能自己马来西亚西坡来回忙。
那段日子真的很辛苦。
后来全职跳舞一年多,本来生活有点起色,
结果遇到 MCO。
什么都做不了,我咬牙开了一辆货车,
进货、送货,开始卖羊奶。
因为公司倒闭,没人管网络,
我就硬着头皮学做设计、做广告、打理 FB。
也是机缘巧合,朋友看我做得不错,拉我一起
干起了 My Fresh Storage。
从只卖 2 个牛肉部位、
一台冰箱、慢慢学了很多学费,到今天每天卖全马数量第一。
最重要的是,这一路,
认识了无数爱牛肉的朋友,也把客户变成了家人。
从网卖到批发,再到行生不同的新生意,真的很辛苦。
但每一次努力、每一个阶段,都让我觉得很值得。
因为我是从“零经验、零资源、零关系”一路熬出来的,
我明白什么叫吃得安心、什么叫值得。
